So about 12 months ago i purchased a whole conga of OF and Cm'd Succession and Le fires.
I had a lot of complications with the purchase and in the end the seller refused to send the horses and started to ignore my emails, so i started to seek some advise.
I came across a lady who had the same problem as me so i contacted her about it and she gave me some good tips. I contacted the seller again, mentioned some of the things I'd been told to mention and well after some debate and some legal talk she decided to send me my horses. (and because she'd messed me around for 12+ months i didn't have to pay postage which was like us $150!!)
My horses arrived in two boxes two days before Christmas which was a pleasant surprise, but what was a bigger surprise was that the seller had sent me extra horses that i hadn't actually purchased, so i ended up with a few free ponies and foals, one of which is this gal,
She's my first ever haired model and well I love her! although i don't love her paint job..
I was talking to a friend i have the UK and she mentioned how she's just finished painting her Vincenzo into a beautiful cremello. I had a lightbulb moment! I did some research and it turns out the cremello is permitted in Arabians. So i'm going to paint her something like this
Prepping and priming her is proving to be a royal pain in the ass because i don't know what medium was used to paint her so i don't know what to use to take it off and the fact that she's haired and i don't want to have to re-hair her.
Hope you all had a merry christmas, wish me luck!

Painting Ponies
I hate the fact that i don't get to post on here as much as i'd like, but between the fact that we're still unpacking and i'm a procrastinator i don't find much time to be creative, especially because i haven't found the right place to set up so i have been having to set everything up and then take it down once i'm finished at the end of the day which makes me put it off more..
But i have managed to almost finish a new project...
She's a little blue roan highland pony. My first ever roan, she was painted in pastels and her details were painted in acrylics.
I still have, the roaning to do swell as her hooves and some other touch-ups but i guess that will come with time but until then she has a cute spot on top of my xbox just staring at me waiting to finish her.
